Geoffrey Andima is an accomplished technology and business leader, currently serving as the Country Head, Information Technology at Old Mutual Uganda. As a key member of the Executive Management team, he plays a strategic role in aligning Information and Communications Technology (ICT) with the company’s overarching business goals across its Life, General Insurance, and Asset Management arms.
With over 14 years of extensive experience, Geoffrey is a seasoned computer scientist and IT practitioner with a proven track record in Networking, Cybersecurity, IT Governance, Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning, and Data Analytics. His professional journey spans diverse and demanding sectors, including Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, ICT Service Delivery, and the Insurance Industry.

As the Project director, he has been pivotal in designing, developing and overseeing end-to-end project processes and detailed grounding documentation, including workflows, compliance checklists, and technical specification documents, ensuring alignment with Lyca Group PMO standards.

Brownie Ebal is a results driven legal and governance professional with a strong track record in corporate advisory, regulatory compliance, and institutional leadership. With over seven years of experience as in-house counsel, she has demonstrated exceptional competence in risk management, stakeholder engagement, corporate governance, and strategic decision support for complex public-sector operations.
As Manager Legal Services at the National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC), she leads the Legal Advisory Section for the Kampala Water Area, guiding the Corporation on contracts, statutory interpretation, compliance, and governance matters. Her expertise spans land transactions, property management, ADR, employment law, and litigation, where she maintains a 99% success rate. She has also championed key institutional reforms, including the digitization of property management systems and the establishment of Legal Aid Clinics.

Beyond her corporate role, Brownie has demonstrated strong governance and board capacity. She made history as the youngest board member appointed to the Uganda Law Society Elections Committee and serves on the In-House Lawyers Committee of the East Africa Law Society, contributing to regional professional development and institutional accountability.

Christine Mawadri is a renowned Ugandan media professional with over 30 years of experience in radio and broadcasting. She pioneered radio in Uganda, introducing new formats and styles, and has trained and mentored numerous journalists and radio personalities. Mawadri is passionate about New Technology, Youth Empowerment, Research and Climate/ Environmental Affairs.

Dan Iga

Eng. IGA Dan is a Civil Engineer and Project Management Professional with more than 14 years of experience in road infrastructure development, project delivery, and contract administration. He holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (Structural
Engineering), and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Hons) from Makerere University.
He is a Certified Member of the CIPS – The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS) and is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He is a Registered Engineer with the ENGINEERS REGISTRATION BOARD UGANDA (ERB) and a Corporate Member of the Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers-UIPE.

Eng. Iga has served in senior technical and managerial roles within the former Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) and the Ministry of Works and Transport- Uganda Government of Uganda, where he currently serves as Principal Engineer (Civil) in the Division of Road Construction and Rehabilitation. His professional expertise spans project planning and implementation, design review oversight, contract management, procurement, compliance with environmental and social safeguards, claims management, and multi-stakeholder coordination for national strategic road development programs.
Eng. Iga is a recipient of the Presidential Diamond Jubilee Medal for his contribution to Uganda’s successful hosting of the NAM and G77 plus China Summits. He also previously received the Best Employee

David Masiko

David Masiko is a strategic planning and analytics professional with over 14 years of experience in the financial services sector, spanning Uganda and broader African markets. In his current role as Senior Manager, Planning & Analytics at the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) Uganda, David leads high impact initiatives that accelerate digital transformation, improve organisational performance, and enable smarter, data informed decision making.

He has been instrumental in aligning corporate strategy using the Balanced Scorecard framework, contributing to the Fund’s achievement of its strategic targets. As the Chairperson of the Funds Procurement Contracts Committee, David has strengthened governance by embedding transparency, regulatory compliance, and accountability into procurement practices, helping mitigate risk across the organisation.

Before joining NSSF, David held roles that shaped regional digital finance ecosystems. At Tiaxa, he developed digital lending models that powered mobile financial services across five African markets.
At MTN Uganda, he led revenue analytics initiatives, while at AIG, he supported more robust underwriting frameworks.

Diana brings deep expertise in digital strategy and product Management, leadership, including Fintech, B2B SaaS, and design thinking, alongside a strong track record in driving business growth through client acquisition, revenue generation, and strategic partnerships. Doris Kaitesi is a seasoned Corporate Legal Counsel with over nine years of
experience providing strategic legal advisory and championing good governance.
As a Principal Associate at Nangwala, Rezida & Company Advocates, where she began her career, Doris has developed deep expertise at the intersection of Law and business. She advises diverse clients on corporate and commercial law, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, and human resource matters, delivering practical solutions that reduce risk and drive growth.
Some of Doris’ career highlights include:

  • Negotiating and structuring major transactions, including a joint venture that
  • enabled the subdivision and resale of land valued at over UGX 11 billion.
  • Representing clients in high-value foreclosure sales exceeding UGX 9 billion, and drafting credit policies and operational guidelines that enhanced financial governance.
  • Contributing to the establishment of a Farmer Financing Unit for one of Uganda’s largest coffee exporters, which has supported over 9,000 farmers with repayment rates above 99%
  • Serving as External Company Secretary for organizations in hospitality, recruitment, construction, and FMCG, strengthening governance frameworks and compliance.

Doris is a Certified/Chartered Secretary and Corporate Governance Professional (Grad CG) from the Chartered Governance Institute (UK & Ireland). She completed the ICSA Mentorship Program and is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of East London to further expand her business acumen.

Eunice Mubangizi Asinguza is the Legal and Corporate Affairs Manager at the
National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), A seasoned Senior Climate Change Negotiator and Executive leader in international environmental law, climate governance, and multilateral treaty compliance with over 12 years of experience shaping legal frameworks and implementing global environmental agreements.
Holds a remarkable background of contributing to advancing the Paris Agreement through direct involvement and service on different committees such as the Paris Agreement Implementation and Compliance Committee (PAICC) and the Appeals and grievance handling under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change(UNFCCC)

Back home, Eunice has spearheaded the enforcement and compliance of environmental laws, backstopped regulatory development, provided legal advisory, and participated in the negotiation of key environmental agreements, including the UNFCCC, Minamata Convention, and the Montreal
Protocol on Ozone Depleting Substances.
She is Proficient in developing legal and regulatory systems, integrating environmental integrity with national development priorities and global frameworks such as NDCs and the SDGs, and most importantly, she supports the Board functionality of NEMA.
At community Level, Eunice is the Board Chairperson of Peerlink Initiatives, an Non –Governmental Organization whose purpose is to contribute to efforts to revive a reading culture, and empower women and youth to succeed in their communities.

Faizah Nabatanzi is a seasoned supply chain and operations leader with over 13 years of experience driving strategic transformation across logistics, procurement, manufacturing, and distribution management. She holds an Executive MBA in Supply Chain and Logistics Management (Triple Certification) from Eaton Business School, Guglielmo Marconi University (Italy), and Cambridge International Qualifications (UK), and is a Certified Manager with the Chartered Management Institute (UK).


Faizah currently serves as Managing Director at Kaloke Commodities Limited, where she leads strategy, growth, and innovation in the affordable real estate sector. Her work focuses on expanding access to quality housing for underserved communities while promoting sustainable business practices and women’s empowerment. She has represented her organization and country at the UK House of Lords under the Commonwealth Women’s Business Africa initiative, advocating for women’s leadership and the advancement of African enterprises on a global platform.

Previously, Faizah held senior roles in major organizations, including serving as Senior Logistics Consultant at MTN Group (Fincommerce – Uganda), where she led digital transformation in supply chain operations through AI, IoT, blockchain, and automation; Supply Chain Manager at Uganda Baati
(The Safal Group), where she implemented SAP S4 Hana ERP, achieving a 40% reduction in processing downtime; and Supply Chain Manager at Hima Cement Uganda (LafargeHolcim), where she delivered a 5% cost saving on raw materials and expanded the business into supplementary
building materials. Her earlier roles at Bolloré Africa Logistics and SEKO Logistics Uganda further honed her expertise in import/export management, logistics coordination, and customer service excellence.

She is recognized for her ability to lead cross-functional teams, optimize supply chain performance, and deliver measurable business outcomes. She is passionate about empowering women in business, bridging opportunity gaps across Africa, and building ethical, inclusive enterprises that create lasting social and economic value.

Ian Rumanyika is a highly accomplished specialist in Communications, Marketing, and Change Management, bringing over 15 years of experience in Public Relations and strategic Communications to the program. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Node Group Consult, a leading PR and Marketing agency across
East Africa. His expertise extends globally, as he is a Change Communications
Specialist consulting with the European Union under DAI Global across various African nations, a Global Change Management Specialist with SCIO-Network, and a Government Communications Consultant for multiple African countries.

Throughout his career, Mr. Rumanyika has consistently delivered high-impact
results, significantly enhancing the image and service delivery of organizations through strategic media relations, stakeholder engagement, and comprehensive corporate communications to boost visibility and brand positioning in competitive environments

He is widely celebrated for his transformative work at the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA), where he spearheaded a number of campaigns including culture change transformation project. Following his tenure at URA, he joined
Uganda Baati Ltd. as the Head of External Affairs, pioneering the department and successfully transforming the brand from a quiet presence to a bold and top of mind brand within the private sector.


Mr. Rumanyika has demonstrated significant capacity in governance and strategic oversight through various board and committee roles. He served as a Board Member for the URA FC football club, leading the team to win a number of accolades, and as a Board Member for the URA SACCO, contributing to the substantial growth of its asset base to over UGX 160 billion. Furthermore, he served on both the Economic and Business Committee and the Communications and Marketing Committee at the Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA), and provided leadership as the Board Chairman for Corporate Games Uganda.

In his career, Ian has also provided strategic leadership counsel and change management expertise to numerous organizations, including the Malawi Revenue Authority, Kenya Revenue Authority, Rwanda Revenue Authority,

Mary-Claire Awor

Mary Claire Awor is an experienced Risk Management professional with a proven track record in effectively identifying, managing and mitigating credit risk, leveraging data-driven decisions, creating synergy between stakeholders to safeguard the bank assets and ensure regulatory compliance at Centenary Bank.
Claire currently serves as credit risk manager, and in this role reviews policies,
conducts independent risk assessments for loan products, channels and partnerships , and is responsible for stress testing and risk appetite monitoring. She has a strong staff mentor role, develops training material for both Junior staff, senior staff and externally, and builds strong relationships with her stakeholders.

Prior to this, she worked as a Credit Risk Analyst (2015-2018) overseeing the credit risk portfolio, performing data analysis and reporting, policy reviews, personnel training, and quality assurance of high-risk exposures. She worked as a Commercial Loans Officer and a Micro/Salary loan officer between 2006 and 2015, overseeing loan solicitation, underwriting, and closing.


Claire holds an MBA in Strategy (Edinburgh Business School), is an affiliate of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Uganda (ICPAU) and a Fellow of the Association of the Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA UK). She has gained additional accreditations in financial risk management, and her
academic qualifications include a BA in Social Sciences (Economics/Rural Economy),a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management, certified in Financial Risk and Regulations and a Certified Risk Analyst
among others.

Betty Mwagale

Betty Mwagale is a strategic and forward thinking Human Resources Leader with over 15 years of extensive experience shaping organisational performance, culture transformation, and people centered leadership across the engineering, international NGO, and financial services sectors. Her career is rooted in intentionality, excellence, and impact, and she has consistently led initiatives that strengthen talent pipelines, enhance employee experience, and enable sustainable business growth.


Betty currently serves as the Country HR Lead at Britam Uganda, where she provides strategic HR leadership across multiple business units, including Britam Insurance Company Uganda, Britam Asset Managers Company Uganda, and Britam Life Assurance Company Uganda. Her role spans performance management, organisational culture development, talent management, leadership development, employee relations, and enterprise-wide engagement.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Uganda Management Institute, Advanced HR Certification from University of Cape Town and is currently pursuing her CIPD-UK Level 5 Advanced Diploma in

With a career spanning multiple industries, Allen Ssempa brings over 14 years of experience in managing and elevating corporate brands across FMCG, banking, and international development organizations. Caroline Wamono is a strategic, regionally grounded program management leader with over 15 years of experience delivering large-scale, donor-funded initiatives across East and West Africa. An expert in designing and executing programs at the intersection of agribusiness systems, climate resilience, urban–rural development, migration, inclusive finance, and youth employment, Caroline brings strong governance, ESG risk oversight, and grant management expertise across complex consortia and fragile operating environments.


Currently serving as Regional Program Manager at aBi Development Limited,
Caroline has played a critical role in establishing the Mastercard Foundation–funded EYE-C Program, supporting pathways to meaningful work for 300,000 young women within Uganda’s coffee value chain.

She also coordinates national level European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) compliance efforts alongside multiple value chain development initiatives. Recognized for translating grassroots realities into scalable systems, influencing policy, and brokering high impact public–private
